Sometimes doing the right thing doesn't seem to make a difference.

You keep showing up. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep choosing obedience. And still, you wonder if any of it matters.

Not every act of faithfulness comes with an immediate result. But that doesn't mean it's wasted.

Keep following Jesus. Keep taking the next step. Even when you can't see what God is doing.

Life can change in a moment.

An unexpected phone call. A difficult conversation. A situation you never saw coming. We don't always know what's ahead, and sometimes that uncertainty can feel overwhelming.

But what catches us by surprise is never a surprise to God.

Whatever you're walking through today, you can bring it to Him. He knows what tomorrow holds, even when you don't.

It's the middle of the week. How's your faith looking outside of Sunday?

When doing the right thing goes unnoticed.
When telling the truth costs you something.
When the answer to your prayer still hasn't come.

It's easy to talk about trusting God when things are going well. But what about when they're not?

Here's your midweek reminder: God sees your obedience, even when nobody else does. Your faithfulness isn't wasted.

What's one area where you need to keep trusting God this week?

Some things in life feel permanent. Success. Security. Influence. The things we spend so much time building. But the truth is, even the greatest earthly kingdoms won't last forever.

Yesterday, we were reminded of three truths:
Every earthly kingdom has an expiration date.
Every earthly kingdom will answer to God.
Only Jesus offers a Kingdom that will never end.

The question isn't whether you're building your life around something. It's whether what you're building your life on will last.

So, what's getting your time, your attention, and your devotion? Are you building for what's temporary, or are you living for what's eternal? Build your life on Jesus.

We're all building something.

A career. A family. A reputation. A future.

But what happens when the things we've spent our lives building don't last?

The question isn't whether you're building something. It's what you're building your life around.

This Sunday, we're continuing Clash of Kingdoms in Daniel 7, and we're asking a question worth considering: Are you building your life around something temporary or someONE eternal?

Join us Sunday at Hope Church.

Daniel walked out of the lions' den. Jesus walked out of the grave. And because Jesus lives, we have the hope of new life in Him.

That's what baptism points to. The old life is gone. We've been raised to walk in newness of life through Jesus.

Baptism doesn't save us. It's a public declaration of the faith we've placed in the One who does.

If you've surrendered your life to Jesus but haven't taken that step of obedience, maybe this is your next yes.

Ready to take that step? We'd love to celebrate with you.

This week, several members of our staff are joining hundreds of church leaders at Collab Conference in Raleigh for leadership development, connection, and VISION.

Earlier today, Pastor Tadd had the opportunity to encourage a room full of church leaders to communicate vision in a way that inspires people to see it, own it, and join it. And one thought stood out: Serving. Giving. Taking your Next Step. These things may seem ordinary, but when we're faithful with what's in front of us, we get to be part of something so much bigger than ourselves.

It brings us right back to what we talked about on Sunday: My responsibility is obedience. The outcome belongs to God. We don't have to know how it all turns out to take the next faithful step. Do you trust God with the outcome?

Living faithfully isn't always easy. There will be opposition. There will be moments when obedience comes at a cost. And...

Living faithfully isn't always easy. There will be opposition. There will be moments when obedience comes at a cost. And there will be times when we don't know how things will turn out. But faithfulness isn't about having all the answers. It's about trusting the God who does.

Yesterday, Daniel's story reminded us that we can stand firm in our faith, depend on God through every circumstance, and leave the outcome in His hands. Live Faithfully. No Matter the Cost.

As you walk into this week, remember: God hasn't called you to control the outcome. He's called you to be faithful.

When life gets overwhelming, what's your first response?

We worry. We overthink. We try to fix things we can't control. And somewhere along the way, we remember to pray.

But what if prayer became our first response instead of our last resort?

Daniel didn't wait for the pressure to come before he began seeking God. His faithfulness was built long before he faced the lions.

What's one thing you can surrender to God in prayer today?

What happens when you're doing everything right, but nothing seems to be going right?

You're trying to honor God. You're choosing obedience. You're doing your best to remain faithful. But the pressure keeps growing.

Sometimes following Jesus doesn't make life easier. Sometimes it costs us something.

This Sunday, we're continuing Clash of Kingdoms in Daniel 6, where we'll discover what it looks like to live faithfully—even when the pressure is on.
