Daniel walked out of the lions' den. Jesus walked out of the grave. And because Jesus lives, we have the hope of new life in Him.

That's what baptism points to. The old life is gone. We've been raised to walk in newness of life through Jesus.

Baptism doesn't save us. It's a public declaration of the faith we've placed in the One who does.

If you've surrendered your life to Jesus but haven't taken that step of obedience, maybe this is your next yes.

Ready to take that step? We'd love to celebrate with you.

This week, several members of our staff are joining hundreds of church leaders at Collab Conference in Raleigh for leadership development, connection, and VISION.

Earlier today, Pastor Tadd had the opportunity to encourage a room full of church leaders to communicate vision in a way that inspires people to see it, own it, and join it. And one thought stood out: Serving. Giving. Taking your Next Step. These things may seem ordinary, but when we're faithful with what's in front of us, we get to be part of something so much bigger than ourselves.

It brings us right back to what we talked about on Sunday: My responsibility is obedience. The outcome belongs to God. We don't have to know how it all turns out to take the next faithful step. Do you trust God with the outcome?

Living faithfully isn't always easy. There will be opposition. There will be moments when obedience comes at a cost. And there will be times when we don't know how things will turn out. But faithfulness isn't about having all the answers. It's about trusting the God who does.

Yesterday, Daniel's story reminded us that we can stand firm in our faith, depend on God through every circumstance, and leave the outcome in His hands. Live Faithfully. No Matter the Cost.

As you walk into this week, remember: God hasn't called you to control the outcome. He's called you to be faithful.

When life gets overwhelming, what's your first response?

We worry. We overthink. We try to fix things we can't control. And somewhere along the way, we remember to pray.

But what if prayer became our first response instead of our last resort?

Daniel didn't wait for the pressure to come before he began seeking God. His faithfulness was built long before he faced the lions.

What's one thing you can surrender to God in prayer today?

What happens when you're doing everything right, but nothing seems to be going right?

You're trying to honor God. You're choosing obedience. You're doing your best to remain faithful. But the pressure keeps growing.

Sometimes following Jesus doesn't make life easier. Sometimes it costs us something.

This Sunday, we're continuing Clash of Kingdoms in Daniel 6, where we'll discover what it looks like to live faithfully—even when the pressure is on.

Join us Sunday at 8:00, 9:30 + 11:00 AM

You don't have to keep trying to measure up.

Not to the world's expectations. Not to everyone else's standards. And not to earn your way into God's Kingdom.

Because the truth is, none of us could ever measure up on our own. But Jesus did for us what we could never do for ourselves. He took our sin. He conquered death. And through Him, we're offered a new life.

Baptism is a public declaration of that new life. It's an outward expression of the faith you've placed in Jesus and a declaration that your life belongs to Him.

If you've surrendered your life to Jesus but haven't been baptized, this may be your next yes.

You can have everything the world applauds and still be building something that won't last.

This week we saw that King Belshazzar had the power, wealth, influence, and recognition. By the world's standards, he had it all. But when God weighed his kingdom, it was found wanting.

And that leaves us with a question we can't afford to ignore: What would God find if He weighed the kingdom we're building?

What has your worship? What has your surrender? What determines your worth?

The truth is, every earthly kingdom will eventually fall. But the Kingdom of Jesus will stand forever.

Stop building what cannot last. Surrender to the King whose Kingdom never falls.

We all have plans. Dreams. Goals. A picture of what we want our lives to look like.

But somewhere along the way, it's easy to become more focused on building the life we want than surrendering to the One who gave us life.

And sometimes, the hardest thing to lay down isn't something bad. It's something we've worked really hard to build. Your plans. Your priorities. Your future.

What are you willing to place in His hands?

We spend so much of our lives trying to measure up.

Success. Money. Recognition. Accomplishments. The life we're building. But what happens when the things we think matter most aren't the things that matter to God?

This Sunday, we're continuing Clash of Kingdoms with a message from Daniel that challenges us to reconsider what we're building our lives around.

➡️ You've spent enough time building your kingdom. Are you ready to surrender to His?

Some of the most meaningful worship moments aren’t always the loudest ones.

Sometimes it’s a lyric that hits differently. A moment of surrender. A prayer answered. A Sunday when you knew God was reminding you exactly who He is.

What’s a worship moment you’ll never forget?

We’d love to hear it in the comments.
