In the last two weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to hear two local pastors, Pastor Williams and Pastor Lackey, talk about how God wants us to live our faith and not just speak our faith.

On my early morning flight from Regan International to Atlanta, I was reminded to do so.

A flight attendant just seemed unhappy, sad, or just bracing for a day of bad passengers. She didn’t smile, interact, or seem to care.

The conversation with the gentleman next to me reminded me of Matthew chapter 7 verse 1.

“Do not judge or you too will be judged.”

Rather than have the typical negative reaction that many of us would have, we treated this woman with sincere kindness and appreciation and by the end of the flight she was talkative had a wonderful smile.

I can tell you that leaning on God’s words in that seemingly small moment helped me live a better life and revived me personally, but we could also see it helped revitalize that woman.

I have a shirt from Til Valhalla Project, a company that seeks to help prevent veteran su***de. It reads “Everyone you meet is going through a battle you know nothing about.”

Think of how you can live God’s word throughout the week and revitalize your own spirit as well as others.
