from Sunday’s Children’s Moments by Pastor Miguel A. Velez: If you’ve ever had a babysitter, you know your parents will be gone for a while but they promise to come back. In Acts 2:1-4, the disciples receive Jesus’ promise that He will send them a Helper while He’s gone. The Holy Spirit fills the disciples so they can tell people from different countries about Jesus, and the Church is born with 3,000 believers! Jesus always keeps His promises and helps us. Let’s receive His promises in our life and follow the Holy Spirit’s lead to share God’s love and light with others!
