Church family, don't forget to register for the spaghetti lunch which is this Sunday (May 4). Proceeds go to support the Cherokee mission trip. Bring a sauce for the competition if you'd like!

It's that time of year! International students are arriving soon to Georgia Tech and there is a great need for households to host 1-3 students for several nights before they can get into their dorms. This is such a meaningful ministry to welcome these students into the US and show them the love of Christ.

Please email Carole Hightower and let her know if you can offer some space. [email protected].

Thank you for blessing these students!

Wednesday adventures!
Gavin gave the devotional message this morning. Our skit described the damage sin does and then in small groups we discussed the fact that we can’t fix this ourselves. Science camp explored this theme also with fun experiments using food color that show how pervasive sin is.
During the break before the evening soccer camp some of the team played archery tag. It was a great day.
And we are very tired!

Day two - Dawson led us in worship before morning soccer camp. Our focus in the skit and small group discussions was about our Creator giving us instructions on how to llive for our good and his glory.
At the Boys and Girls Club we discovered some old, signed soccer balls we’d left here years ago.
We had 56 campers at the evening program.
Thank you for praying!

For any who didn't see the email: Worship tomorrow will be at 10:45 in the courtyard - bring lawn chairs!

In preparation for, or as follow up to tomorrow’s sermon on David, Tamar, Amnon, and Absalom (The Obfuscating Dynamics of Shame & Guilt), I highly recommended this blog post and upcoming book by Scott Sauls.
