Open Door Celebrate Recovery At Celebrate Recovery we believe that change is possible by the power of Jesus through this Biblical program. We meet every Friday night at Open Door.

Schedule:
6:00 PM - Dinner
7:00 PM - Large Group
8:00 PM - Small Groups
9:00 PM - Crosstalk Cafe The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our problems. By working and applying Biblical principles,

we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our compulsive, dysfunctional and/or addictive behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ.

This Friday night is a continued trip into Inventory. Celebrate Recovery said, “Let’s go ahead and address the areas you’ve been creatively avoiding.”

We learn four more areas to look in to for healing. This is the moment we realize that we didn’t just go through things, we built an entire lifestyle around reacting to them.

So now we’re naming patterns. Not blaming, not performing, not spiritualizing everything into confusion.

Just… truth.

And truth has a way of exposing what sarcasm, busyness, avoidance, and overthinking have been covering for years.

Freedom starts when denial stops trying to act like it’s in charge.

🚨 Tomorrow Night at Celebrate Recovery 🚨

Lesson 10: INVENTORY…or as some of us call it:“Finding out the call is coming from inside the house.”

Inventory is that moment when you ask God to shine a light on your life and suddenly your attitude, coping skills, and “communication style” all start looking a little suspicious.

It’s realizing:• maybe slamming cabinet doors IS a form of communication• maybe “I’m fine” has never actually meant fine• maybe healing requires more than deleting people and buying another emotional support blanket

But here’s the beautiful thing:Inventory isn’t about shame. It’s about freedom. You can’t clean out what you keep pretending isn’t there.

So come hang out with people who are learning to heal for real — one honest step at a time.

Celebrate Recovery:Helping people trade chaos, denial, and fake “I got this” energy for honesty, healing, and hope.

This Friday we are at Lesson 9: Inventory… aka the moment you realize your “perfectly reasonable reactions” had a little ✨extra✨ on them 😂

Nothing humbles you faster than sitting down like,
“Okay Lord, show me the truth…”
…and He’s like,
“Girl, how much time you got?” 😬

Column 1: What happened
Column 2: My feelings
Column 3: My part

And suddenly it goes from: “They were rude.” to: “Okay but I was also passive-aggressive, dramatic, and maybe rehearsed that argument in the shower 14 times.” 🚿💁‍♀️

Inventory is wild because you start out thinking you’re writing a report…and end up writing a confession.

But also—freedom. Because once you can say, “Yeah, I did that…”
you can finally stop carrying it like it’s everyone else’s fault.

10/10 recommend.
0/10 enjoyable while it’s happening.

Dinner starts at 6pm. Truth starts at 7pm. The opportunity to complain about looking at the junk in our closet starts at 8pm. Crosstalk Cafe is at 9pm.

Nothing builds your character quite like a moment where you’re 100% confident…
and then 3 seconds later you’re like, “…I don’t know what ANY of this means.” 😅

You ever have one of those?

Where everything looks familiar…but suddenly you can’t read the room, the situation, or your own life choices?

Yeah. Same.

Let’s just say I recently had a very humbling experience that involved confusion, questionable decisions, and a whole lot of “Lord, help me not make this worse.”

And honestly? It’ll preach.

If you’ve ever been in a situation where you had no clue what was going on but still had to figure it out anyway… you need this.

Go read it. You’ll laugh. And maybe feel a little called out.

When Life Randomly Switches to Portuguese (and You Still Don’t Panic… Much) Yesterday I was serving on A/V at church, feeling real important—like, “Yes, Lord, use me and this MAC studio for Your glory.” And then… the system switched to Portuguese. No warning. No countdown. No “are you ...

This Friday, April 10… we’re doing something wild.

We’re not fixing people.
We’re not giving advice.
We’re not diagnosing your ex. 😌

We’re doing something way more uncomfortable…we’re getting honest.

Like…
“Maybe it’s not just that I’m tired…”
“Maybe it’s not just their fault…”
“Maybe I’ve been calling it a phase for 5 years…”

That kind of honest. 😬

Because Moral Lesson 8 isn’t about changing yet—it’s about finally dropping the filters we’ve been using on ourselves.

You know, the ones that say:
“I’m fine.”
“It’s not that big of a deal.”
“That’s just my personality.”

Meanwhile… patterns are pattern-ing. 👀

And just in case we’re tempted to think, “I’ve already arrived… I’m good… no deep work needed…”

Even Paul said:

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal…” – Philippians 3:12

If he wasn’t done yet…we might still have a little inventory left too. 😅

And then there’s this verse just casually wrecking all our defenses:

“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” – Psalm 139:23

Sir… respectfully… that feels invasive. 😂

But also?
That’s where real change starts—
not in pretending,
not in blaming,
but in getting honest enough to actually see what’s going on inside.

So if you’ve been feeling that little nudge like…“Hey… something’s off, but I keep ignoring it…”

Yeah. This is your Friday.

Schedule:
6:00 PM – Dinner 🍽️
7:00 PM – Large Group
8:00 PM – Small Groups
9:00 PM – Crosstalk Cafe ☕

No pressure. No pretending. Just a room full of people choosing honesty over hiding.

So here’s the real question—If you actually slowed down long enough to let God show you what’s really going on inside…
…would you recognize yourself? 👀

Everyone loves a comeback story… until it’s messy, takes time, and doesn’t come with a cute highlight reel 🎤

Good news: God has never needed your life to be polished to use it. Not once. Not ever.

This Friday, April 3, is Freedom Story Friday—where the glow-up isn’t filtered, the healing isn’t fake, and the victory didn’t come easy.

We’re talking real-life, “I didn’t think I’d make it out of that” kind of freedom.

📖 “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.” — Psalm 34:17

Not “might deliver.”
Not “eventually gets around to it.”
Delivers.

So if you’ve ever cried out from the middle of your mess (and let’s be honest… who hasn’t), this night is for you.

🕕Dinner at 6
🕖Large Group at 7
🕖Small Group at 8
🕖Crosstalk Cafe at 9

Come as you are—no glow-up required, no backstory too messy.

You know what’s wild?
We’ll trust our own thinking… the same thinking that got us into this mess in the first place. 💀

“I’m good.”
“I’ve got this.”
“It’s not that bad.”

Meanwhile… it is, in fact, that bad.

Enter: a sponsor. AKA the person who gently (or not so gently) interrupts your nonsense before it turns into a full-blown life episode.

A sponsor is:
• not impressed with your excuses
• not confused by your “logic”
• and not afraid to say, “Yeah… no.”

And somehow… that’s love.

Because real growth sounds less like “you’re doing amazing sweetie” and more like “you said you wanted change… this ain’t it.” 👀

This Friday our Sponsor Lesson is for anyone who:
• keeps repeating the same cycle
• calls it “just a rough week” (it’s been 6 months)
• or thinks accountability is a personal attack

Spoiler: it’s not. It’s a lifeline.

So come on out.
Get uncomfortable.
Maybe get called out… definitely get called UP.

Dinner at 6 🍽
Large Group at 7 🙌

This Friday at Open Door Celebrate Recovery we’re doing one of my favorite things… letting God show off.

Because this Freedom Story is proof that when God redeems a life, He doesn’t just clean it up and put it on a shelf like a “before and after” project from HGTV.

Oh no.

He redeems His child…then turns around and says, “Great. Now let’s use this story to help set other people free too.”

So if you’ve ever thought your past was too messy, too embarrassing, or too complicated for God to use…

Good news.

God seems to specialize in the exact kind of stories people would normally hide from the church newsletter.

Now that same story is helping other people find hope, healing, and freedom.

Which honestly just proves two things:
1. God is amazing.
2. And the enemy is probably still mad about it.

Dinner at 6 PM
Large Group at 7 PM

Come be encouraged, and watch what happens when God takes a life that looked like a mess… and turns it into a ministry. 🙌
