“Carry each other’s burdens” sounds simple enough. But we can’t carry what we don’t know about.

Real community takes more than seeing each other on Sundays. It means building relationships where we know one another well enough to recognize when something is heavy, and trust one another enough to share when we need help carrying it.

In The Breakfast Club, five people who seem to have very little in common discover there’s much more happening beneath the labels they’ve given one another. It’s only when the masks come off that they begin to truly know and be known by one another - a picture of the kind of community the Church should strive to be, where honesty is met with grace, differences don’t divide us, and no one has to pretend they have it all together.

The One Thing: The Church should be the safest place to tell the truth.

Some of God’s deepest work happens before anyone else can see the victory.

In seasons of struggle, prayer, surrender, and community shape us. Pride gives way to dependence. Our own strength gives way to His. And quietly, God forms in us the courage and endurance we’ll need for what comes next.

Preparation isn’t separate from the work God is doing. It is part of the work.

What might God be forming in you right now?

We’re surrounded by messages about what it means to succeed - to achieve more, earn recognition, and come out on top.

But Jesus invites us to measure our lives differently. Following Him means learning when to let go, when to stand firm, and when loving others will require something from us.

His way may not always look like winning to the world, but it leads us toward something far greater.

The One Thing:
True glory transcends trophies; it is found in FREEDOM, SACRIFICE, and LOVE that mirrors Christ’s courage.

If we believe every person is made in the image of God, it changes the way we see people - even those who look, believe, live, or think differently than we do.

Every person has value. Every person bears God's image. And we're called to live like we believe it.

Our value isn't something we earn - it comes from being made in the image of God. And when we recognize His image in ourselves, we can begin to see it in others, too.

This week, Eddie reminded us that each of us reflects something of our Creator - but together, we see a fuller picture of His creativity, beauty, brilliance, and glory.

THE ONE THING: Together, we reflect more of the image of the God who made us.

Transformation was never meant to stop with us.

A renewed life becomes something others can see through the way we love, serve, encourage, and show up for the people around us. We don't transform anyone ourselves, but we can live in a way that points people toward the God who does.
