The Outreach Team would like to say “Thank You” to all of you who participated in the Spiritual Life Center and handing out earplugs for the Tractor Pulls at the Fair. Your support for the worthwhile activities is important!

Worship Choir
WORSHIP CHOIR will begin their 2026-2027 Season on Wednesday September 2nd at 6:00p.m. in the Sanctuary. If you have a passion to sing with the choir, all are welcome. All music materials and rehearsal schedules will be passed out at rehearsals. No auditions necessary! If you have any questions, please reach out to Christopher Andres.

THE CHOSEN: COMING THIS FALL
Join us for the viewing of season three of THE CHOSEN. On September 16 at 9:30 am, we will see episode one: “Homecoming.” In this first episode of season three, the setting is the Sermon on the Mount. Judas is so moved by the sermon; he becomes a follower of Jesus. Matthew reconciles with his father, who had disowned him years early when Matthew became a tax collector. We will gather to see a new episode of THE CHOSEN monthly on the third Wednesday morning. Contact Barbara Menke for more information.9/13

Volunteer Opportunities – Volunteers are needed for our fall trips in western NC: Oct. 11-17, and Nov. 8-14. Both skilled and unskilled workers are welcome. Transportation, housing, and food expenses are covered by BDM. Call/text Helen Wolf at 937-902-3475 or [email protected] for more information or to join a crew.

District Conference
Volunteers are still needed to help with the poverty experience on Friday morning. If you are willing/able to help out, contact Linda Brandon Eubank via email at [email protected] or email the district office at [email protected] for more information.

Youth
Youth in grades 5-12 are invited to an "End of Summer Bash" at the Overholser's on Sunday, September 13. The scheduled time is 2-5pm. We will have lots of food, games, swimming and fishing in their pond, co****le, and so much more. Invite your friends!! RSVP to Joel NO LATER than Monday, September 14th @ NOON, by calling/texting: 317-627-7385 or email: [email protected]. Also let him know about any game/activity ideas you have and feel free to bring them with you!
