📖 This summer, we gave away SOAP Bible Reading Guides to help us spend a little more time in God’s Word each day—and you loved it so much, we made a new guide for the next quarter (September-November)!

We had them available at church this weekend. If you missed it, grab a copy on your way into church or find it on the Reverent app under the Worship tab.

GOD IS WITH YOU—EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T FEEL HIM.

Jacob said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”

How often do we mistake not feeling God’s presence for God not being present? His presence isn’t dependent on our perception of it. He never leaves us, and there is nowhere we can go where He isn’t already there.

God is with you. Right now.

🎉 Help us celebrate Dan Franklin’s 5-year work anniversary at Reverent!

Five years of hard work, behind-the-scenes dedication, and plenty of adventures! We asked Dan a few questions about his time at Reverent, and his answers gave us a fun glimpse into the guy who helps keep things running behind the scenes. 👏

Q: What’s one word that describes your last five years at Reverent?
A: Adventure! 😎

Q: What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on around the church?
A: Remodeling the inside of the Worship Center.

Q: What’s one thing people probably don’t notice that takes a lot of work?
A: The cleaning, stocking, and regular maintenance that happens every week. So much of what makes our campuses ready for ministry happens behind the scenes!

Q: What’s the strangest thing you’ve found while working around the church?
A: A wedding dress… and underwear. 😂

Q: If you had an unlimited budget for one campus improvement, what would it be?
A: A whole new Worship Center with all the amenities!

Q: What’s your go-to workday snack?
A: Potato chips and milk. 🥔🥛

Q: What’s your favorite hobby outside of work?
A: Cycling. 🚴

Q: What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
A: I’m very introverted!
