It's easy to take each other for granted in marriage. Time, familiarity, and human nature are all contributors. It's vital to never forget that your spouse is perhaps God's most obvious blessing in your life! Maybe you agree, maybe you don't. Consider the following.

If we REALLY believe in the gospel, our greatest treasure must be Christ. As his followers, we are called to be molded, refined, and remade into Christ-like people. This truth remains whether your marriage is great or going through a rough patch.

In times of joy and hardship, your marriage is a reminder of the selfless love and grace needed by you and supplied by Christ on the cross. In marriage, you GIVE grace and love, then you RECEIVE grace and love—both in portions and ways only available in covenantal marriage.

Whatever season you're going through, your spouse is one of God's most obvious blessings. The beauty of a lifelong covenant is that it gives love enough time and room to mature into something truly lasting.

Your marriage is a gift and a blessing from God himself. Hold tight to that truth!

Always remember what a blessing your spouse is—and tell him/her that you appreciate them regularly.

In fact, start by tagging him/her in the comments with a kind word or two!

Proclaiming the Word of God

They might never step inside a church building.
They might never lift their hands in worship or sit through a Sunday sermon.
But they will run into you.

And when they do, what will they encounter?

Will they feel judged… or will they feel loved?
Will they see religion… or will they see Christ?

You may be the only reflection of Jesus someone ever meets. Your patience in conflict. Your kindness when it’s undeserved. Your integrity when no one is watching. Your forgiveness when it would be easier to hold a grudge.

The Gospel isn’t confined to four walls. It walks into workplaces. It sits at dinner tables. It shows up in comment sections. It responds gently. It serves quietly. It loves boldly.

People might avoid a church, but they cannot avoid the way you live.

Be a living testimony.
Be grace in action.
Be truth wrapped in love.
Be the reason someone reconsiders God.

Because sometimes the closest thing they will ever get to a church…

A HUGE thank you to everyone that has joined us so far for our annual 127 garage sale! Today is our last and final day -- we are open now and will be here until 3:00. We still have lots of great items to browse -- men's and women's clothes, shoes, children's clothes, medical items (walkers, etc), holiday decor, household items, books, and more. Everything is being sold by donation only -- so grab boxes and bags and fill them up -- and give what you are able to give. We also have some food available today as well for a suggested donation. We will have breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and shredded chicken sandwiches until sold out. We also have cold pop and water, coffee, and tea. Our church building is air conditioned, so get out of the heat and visit with us for awhile. If you should have any questions about our church while you're visiting, we will be happy to show you around. Our proceeds this year will go to help the Darke County Pregnancy Center, Ansonia Lifewise, and hygiene items for local teens. Day one of our annual 127 garage sale is in the books! But don't worry, there are still lots and lots of great bargains for you. Come visit us on Thursday -- our doors open at 8:30 am, and we'll be open until 5:00 pm. We still have loads of men's and women's clothing, children's clothing, shoes of all sizes, books, kitchen items, housewares, and holiday items. All garage sale items are sold by donation only -- so give what you can afford to give. If you need a place to take a break, our church is air conditioned, so you can come in and sit for awhile. We will have breakfast sandwiches and coffee from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Starting at 10:30 am, we'll have hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and shredded chicken sandwiches (until sold out). We will also have cold pop and water, as well as homemade baked goods. (Food items do have a suggested donation price.) Proceeds from our sale will go to our local community -- the Darke County Pregnancy Center, Ansonia Lifewise, and hygiene products for local teens. If you should have questions about our church while you are visiting us, please be sure to ask one of our member volunteers -- we'll be more than happy to show you around and tell you more about our non-denominational church. Tomorrow is the big day, and we are READY for YOU! Come join us for our annual 127 Garage Sale at Northside Community Fellowship. The doors open at 8:30 am tomorrow morning, and we'll stay open until 5:00. We have loads of household goods, yard decor, seasonal decorations, books, shoes, adult and childrens clothing, appliances, and kitchen wares. All of our garage sale items are by donation only -- so give what you can. In addition to our amazing garage sale finds, we will also have breakfast sandwiches and coffee from 8:30 to 10:30 am. Starting at 10:30 am, we will have hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and shredded chicken sandwiches (until sold out). We'll also have cold pop, water, coffee, and hand made baked goods. All of the food items have a suggested donation price. Our building is air conditioned, so get out of the heat and come visit us. Whew, organizing has begun for our annual 127 garage sale! We are just beginning to get everything ready for you, and we have lots more to go! We have loads of women's and men's clothes (many new, with tags) as well as children's clothes, household and kitchen items. Don't forget we'll also have breakfast sandwiches and lunch items as well. Get out of the heat and stop in for some great bargains, starting Wednesday morning. We can't wait to see you.

Our annual garage sale starts one week from today! Join us for breakfast sandwiches and coffee from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and chicken sandwiches at 10:30 am. We will have homemade desserts all day long, as well as cold drinks and bottled water. Our church building is air conditioned, so get out of the heat and shop all our garage sale finds -- most are sold by donation only, so give what you are able. A large percentage of our proceeds this year will go to help our local community, and we are looking forward to a successful sale. We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday!!
