HE SAYS YOU ARE FORGIVEN.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9 (KJV)

Sin is serious. We must never treat it lightly or excuse what God calls evil.

But the gospel gives real hope to repentant sinners.

Because Jesus Christ bore the judgment of sin for His people, we can confess our sins honestly and come to God seeking mercy. Our hope is not in our ability to make up for our failures, but in Christ's finished work.

Repentance is not pretending we never sinned. It is turning from sin and turning to God in faith.

Do not hide your sin from the Lord. Bring it into the light, repent, and rest in the sufficiency of Christ.

Read Psalm 51 today and consider the beauty of genuine repentance.

Going to church every Sunday is not the same as being meaningfully connected to a local church.

If you belong to Christ, you need a church where you are not merely attending services, but known, shepherded, encouraged, and lovingly corrected.

God did not design the Christian life to be lived in isolation. He has given us the local church—a community where His Word is faithfully preached, His people are cared for, and believers are equipped to grow in Christlikeness.

You need more than a seat in a congregation. You need faithful shepherds who care for your soul, brothers and sisters who walk alongside you, and a church family that will pray for you in seasons of weakness, encourage you in obedience, and lovingly confront you when you wander from the truth.

Biblical church membership is not about finding a perfect church or expecting people to meet every preference. It is about committing yourself to a local body of believers, submitting to the faithful teaching of God's Word, serving others, and pursuing holiness together.

“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” — Hebrews 10:24 (ESV)

A healthy church does not merely gather people in a building. It seeks to nurture disciples who grow in the knowledge of Christ, care for one another, and persevere in the faith.

Do not settle for being a face in the crowd when God calls you to live as a member of Christ's body.

If you are not meaningfully connected to a local church, take a step toward that commitment. Seek a congregation where Scripture is faithfully taught, Christ is central, and genuine shepherding and fellowship are practiced.

Share this with a believer who needs the reminder that the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone.

Not everyone who comes close to you comes with a pure heart. Judas walked with Jesus, heard His teachings, and still betrayed Him.

Discernment is knowing that proximity doesn't always mean loyalty, and affection doesn't always mean sincerity.

Love people, but ask God for wisdom. Not everyone needs access to your life, and not every smile deserves your trust. 💯

Stewardship seems to lead to a conversation about finances. But it goes so much further beyond the scope of money. How are you using your talents that God has given to you- it could be writing, photography, baking, sewing, music or caring for animals?
Even if we think that our talent isn't special, it was entrusted to us to use it for His glory.

Romans 12:6: We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.
1 Corinthians 12:4: There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.
Colossians 3:23: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not human masters.

Stewardship isn't just about money or possessions. It's about the time we've been given, the people God has placed in our lives, the gifts we carry, and the opportunities we have to serve Him.

We often ask God for more, but sometimes the greater question is what are we doing with what He's already given us? Even the smallest things can bring Him glory when they're placed in His hands.

Lord, help me be faithful with what You've entrusted to me. Teach me to use my time, my gifts, and my opportunities wisely. May nothing You've given me be wasted on a life that forgets to honor You. Amen. ❤️
