In the wake of yesterday’s historic flooding in Nepal, International Ministries (IM) is responding with $10,000 in One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) emergency disaster relief funds to support our partners as they provide food, shelter, and emergency supplies to those most affected.

As relief efforts begin, IM's Area Director for East and South Asia remains in close communication with our partners in Nepal to assess needs and coordinate support.

🙏 Please join us in prayer:
• For families who have been displaced, lost loved ones, or seen their homes destroyed.
• For first responders searching for survivors in collapsed homes and buildings.
• For the restoration of electricity, clean water, and communication systems, and protection from potential health crises.
• For long-term recovery efforts, wisdom for leaders, and resilience for communities as they rebuild.

The office at First Baptist Church of Boone, Iowa, will be closed on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, with Ragbrai in coming through Boone tomorrow and leaving early Wednesday morning. We will be open as usual on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

We have a whole bunch of packages of fresh swiss chard, kale and romaine lettuce. If you would like some, just stop in to the church between 9am and 1pm today or tomorrow (July 14 or 15) and pick some up.
