The Shoe Drive is over! Thanks to Kevin and Mary for spearheading this fundraiser. We collected 100s of shoes that will be a blessing for people we'll never meet in this life. Thanks to everyone who participated too - you all have good soles.

The parking lot is cleared, the front doors are free, the roads are about 50/50 and WE ARE HAVING CHURCH TOMORROW. If your roads are clear and if you feel safe driving out to Bethel, we can't wait to see you.

Unfortunately, this snow storm has created dangerous conditions all around Bethel church. Our scheduled activities for Dec 7 will have to be canceled. We hate to cancel church for any reason, but we hope you all stay safe, and we trust we'll all be able to meet again very soon. Pastor Josh & the Elders

One of the biblical conditions for peace of mind is Gratitude; with that in mind, I want to share these reflections:

I’m grateful that God gave Charlie Kirk 31 years of life to leave his mark, and that he did so with aplomb and integrity.

I’m thankful for the leadership we have in place at this particular juncture.

I’m grateful that I know many people who share my outrage over this travesty.

I’m glad that, no matter how ugly the current struggle becomes, the ultimate end is settled and doubtless.

I’m very thankful that we had fair warning from the Savior himself that his followers would be hated, persecuted, and sometimes killed; because how would faith be possible if Christ had never prepared us for the brutal reality of discipleship?

I’m thankful that although this is the end of Kirk’s earthly vocation, it is not the end of Charlie Kirk.

Christ the Lord is King
