Today we remember and honor the courageous military men and women who gave everything in service to our country. We live in freedom because of their sacrifice.

We pray for God’s comfort and blessings over their families today, and we lift up our hearts in gratitude for their ultimate service.

Caps off to our incredible Trinity Lutheran Preschool Graduates!

From making a "joyful noise" (Psalm 98:4) all year long to celebrating "all things bright and beautiful" (Psalm 104), these kids have brought so much light to our school.

Our preschoolers loved welcoming parents and grandparents to this year’s Parents & Pastries event! Guests enjoyed pastries, fruit, and drinks — all served with big smiles by our preschool students. ☕ 🥐❤️

It was a special time to slow down, enjoy fellowship together, and look back on all the learning, growth, and joyful memories from this school year. ✝️❤️💙

Our kindergarteners had a wonderful time celebrating Iowa Garden Day! 🌱🪴

Students toured Salama Greenhouse & Flower Shop, where each child got to choose an herb to plant in their own pot. They also rolled up their sleeves and planted tomatoes and flowers in Mrs. Van Dyke’s home garden! 🪏🌼🍅

What a fun hands-on way to learn about growing plants, caring for God’s creation, and enjoying the beauty all around us. ✝️

🔐🎶 Joyful Noise Choir Escape Room! 🎶🔐

Our 5th–8th grade choir students put their musical knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test today as they completed a Joyful Noise Choir Escape Room! ❤️💙

From solving rhythm clues and music puzzles to working together under pressure, students had fun using their choir skills in a whole new way. It was filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of joyful noise! ✝️🎵

👏 Congratulations to our winning group for successfully cracking the clues and escaping first!

Great job to all of our middle school choir students for thinking critically, encouraging one another, and rising to the challenge!

This week, we thank God for the incredible teachers and staff who serve at Trinity Lutheran School. ❤️💙

Each day, they do so much more than teach math, reading, science, and music — they share the love of Jesus with our students through their words, prayers, patience, encouragement, and daily example. They help point children to Christ while nurturing the gifts and abilities God has given them.

Teaching is not just a job — it is a calling. We are deeply grateful for the faithful servants who fill our classrooms with learning, kindness, grace, and the truth of God’s Word. ✝️

Today is the day! We’re excited to host the Iowa District West Track Meet at Ogden High School. Events begin at 9:00 AM with devotions, centered on Hebrews 12:1–2: “Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus…” ✝️

Parking Note: Parking at Ogden will be impacted by construction. Spectators may still use the main front parking lot, with additional parking available behind the school.

Please note: the grass lot beyond the baseball centerfield fence will NOT be available during the meet because it is being used for discus. The gravel lot beyond the baseball/right field area will be open and is a good overflow parking option. Please follow the roped traffic flow in that area.

Please allow a little extra time for parking and walking to the track.

Our students were singing, moving, and praising God together—it was such a joyful and uplifting experience for everyone who attended. Jennie’s message and music reminded us of God’s love in a way that was engaging and meaningful for all ages. ✝️
