Greetings church family!! Today is my and Cathy's 42nd anniversary. One thing I know, she's having a much better day than I am... but there's still comfort and joy in my heart, because I have Jesus, I have my church family, I have my family and I have the memories of 37 truly blessed years with my Cathy.
That being said, the Lord has laid all the folks celebrating their wedding anniversary today without their beloved on my heart. I want to pray for them... I hope you will take a moment and pray for them too:
Father God, there are many of your children struggling through their anniversary today this side of eternity while their loved one is with you. So Lord, I pray for each and every one of them today. I pray that you bless them with overflowing joy, comfort and peace as only You can. I pray Father God that each and every one of these children of yours feel Your presence beside them and Your arms around them. I pray Lord that You fill them to overflowing with joyful memories and encourage them to know, this journey is not a long one. Soon we will be united with our loved one again, in heaven, in Your presence and the presence of our Savior Jesus. Oh what a truly glorious day that will be!! Thank you for this promise Lord. In Jesus name. Amen
