One of the biggest myths about evangelism is that you need to be fearless before you start.

You don’t.

Most gospel conversations begin with something simple:
“Can I show you something that’s helped me?”

The Story App was created for moments like that.

It walks through the Bible’s story in a visual, easy-to-follow way that helps people understand:
Creation.
The Fall.
Rescue.
Restoration.

Whether you’re talking with a friend, a coworker, or someone from another culture, The Story App gives you a starting point when words are hard to find.

Don’t wait until you feel perfectly prepared.

Pray for an opportunity.
Take one step.
Trust God with the conversation.

Blaine came to NYC knowing God was calling him to step out of comfort and grow as an evangelist. He wrestled with fear of man, fear of awkwardness, and the pull of what feels familiar. But he chose obedience.

As he shared, “Man, this trip was difficult, but super worth it. I think the biggest thing the Lord showed me through this week is how desperate the world is; how desperately they need the gospel. I was encouraged by a group of park rangers we talked to. They were open to hearing what we had to say and asked great questions. They were still hesitant to the gospel, but God definitely used us to plant a seed in their hearts, and I pray that they will get saved.”

Stories like his remind us that faithfulness is never wasted. God uses ordinary conversations in powerful ways.

Sometimes the hardest part of sharing the Gospel with kids is knowing how to make it clear and meaningful. That’s where The Storymaker Training comes in.

Here are 4 simple ways to use it in everyday life:

✝️ Build a simple foundation
Use the four themes—Creation, Fall, Rescue, and Restoration—to help children understand the big picture of the Bible in a way that actually makes sense.

✝️ Make it part of daily conversations
You don’t need a formal lesson. Use everyday moments to naturally talk through parts of God’s story as situations come up.

✝️ Practice together
Walk through the story with your kids so they feel confident sharing it with others, whether that’s friends, siblings, or even adults.

✝️ Keep it interactive
Let them ask questions, retell the story in their own words, and engage with it so it becomes something they truly understand, not just memorize.

You don’t have to overcomplicate it. You’re simply helping them see their place in the story God is already writing.

For more than 30 years, Kevin Twit has spent time with college students wrestling with faith, doubt, and the pressures of modern culture.

What he’s seeing now is different.

In a time marked by anxiety, disillusionment, and “deconstruction,” Kevin believes many young adults aren’t walking away from Christianity because they’ve carefully reasoned against it. Often, they’re struggling with what he calls “defeater beliefs” cultural assumptions that quietly make faith seem impossible before the gospel is ever truly considered.

In this conversation, Kevin reflects on the spiritual climate on today’s campuses, the role music plays in shaping belief, and why humility and curiosity matter in conversations about faith.

It’s a thoughtful discussion about how believers can engage a generation searching for meaning in a deeply skeptical culture.
