We appreciate what Pastor Inwha and Esther Shon have done for us for 6 years. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and new circumstances and struggles in ministry, they did what Jesus asked us to do for the kingdom of God.
Thank you to all who presented tributes and prepared for the celebration event and gifts, especially the beautiful tributes from Charlene, Roxie, Mary Beck, and Suzie representing UWF, and food and cake by SPRC and Joyce.
Thank God and you all!
May God bless you on your new journey in making God's kingdom πŸ™

Sunday at worship we will give thanks for the faithful ministry of Pastor Inwha and honor Esther for all she has poured into our church and community. During worship this morning, we will share four special tributes as we offer our heartfelt gratitude and blessings.

After the service, everyone is invited to stay for a celebration coffee hour. Enjoy snacks and sweets, spend time visiting with Pastor Inwha and Esther, and take a moment to thank them as they begin their next chapter.

We are grateful for their leadership, their kindness, and the many ways they have shaped our church family.

We are honored to receive the Award of and are so proud of our members who joyfully served the community through Dinner Church.
We received the Award of from the Wisconsin Conference this year.
Thank God and all for making changes in the world.

The Award, presented by the Wisconsin Conference and UM Communications, honors one church, one layperson, and one clergy member each year who exemplify the spirit and mission of the United Methodist Church: to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Recipients of this award should also reflect our shared UMC vision - to love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously.

A good church member is not only a listener but an active servant of the Lord. He shows his faith through attendance, participation, giving, growth, and leading others to Christ.

βœ” Shows up – Regular attendance is important because this is where we are strengthened through fellowship and the Word of God.

βœ” Participates – A true member takes part in the work of the church, not just a spectator.

βœ” Gives – Giving is a sign of a grateful heart that trusts in the Lord.

βœ” Grows – The Christian life should continually grow in faith and in action.

βœ” Leads – Every believer is called to bring others closer to Christ.
A good church member is not only present in attendance, but also present in commitment, service, and spiritual growth for the glory of God.

Hebrews 10:25,
β€œNot forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

2 Corinthians 9:7,
β€œEvery man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

Matthew 28:19,
β€œGo ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
