Parents!!

Have you heard about Parkview Church’s FREE VBS program this year? All children from ages 2-12 are welcome to come on this beautiful adventure.

This year we will be heading to the Emerald Isle as we learn about Psalm 23. Kids will explore God as Shepherd, Guide, Comforter, Provider, and King through David’s story, hands-on activities, and apologetics.

June 15-19th from 5:30-8pm. (Registration begins at 5:15pm)

Dear Parkview family,

It has come to my attention that some of us have actual breathing issues (asthma especially, but also allergies) that are triggered by such things as perfume, aftershave, and strong smelling lotions. Thinking of 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 about the local "body" of believers, how each part is important to care for and honor, would you please consider not wearing the above in our worship service? With only one service now and our closer proximity, I must ask. This is not a matter of legalism, but of love. I wouldn’t ask if there wasn’t a serious need among us.

Don't forget to get your picnic basket and cooler ready for THIS Sunday, August, 28. We are sticking around after 2nd service to eat together on the lawn. So, bring your chairs or blanket and lunch for your family and join us for a relaxing lunch after church. Hope to see you there!

The funeral for Virginia Marek will be tomorrow, Saturday, November 27th. The visitation will be from 10am-12pm, funeral service will be at 12pm, and a reception following the service at Skyline.
Please pray for the family as they process this loss.

The Celebration of Life for Anne Jensen will be Friday, November 12th at Parkview.
Visitation will start at 11am, with the service starting at 12pm.

Dear church family,

Late Wednesday night around 10:00 p.m. we had a malfunction with one of the ovens in the kitchen basement. The fire damage is minimal but the smoke damage is extensive throughout the entire church and requires professional cleaning.

On account of this, we will need to cancel our Sunday morning Sunday school and worship service(January 17th). This includes in person as well as in the parking lot. Due to the extensive cleaning that will need to be done, all of this next week's in building meetings will also need to be cancelled (January 18th-23rd.

Pastor Brule will still be preaching a message and it will be on the church website Sunday morning at: parkviewchurchbrf.com/daniel.html

Lord willing, we will be able to resume all church activities Sunday, January 24th pending the amount of time it takes to clean the soot out of every surface in the church building. If the process takes longer we will send out another notification.

Thank you for your continued prayers as we work through the process of dealing with the investigation, insurance, and cleaning.
