The Bismarck Diocese has an opening for a full-time Accounting Manager in its Bismarck office. The individual in this position will perform accounting and payroll functions for the Fiscal Department and assist and support the staff of the Parish Services Department, in parish accounting and payroll. This position also serves as a backup for critical staff for other duties.

Fill the trailer on July 30!
The Strong Roots, Bright Futures program at Catholic Charities North Dakota is seeking donations to fill their trailer with gently used baby items. All items are given for free to families in need at their local Bundle Up Your Baby Bump event on Saturday, August 8. This is a great chance to pass along gently used baby items while making a real difference for families in need in our community. Drop off gently used baby supplies (newborn-5T) on Thursday, July 30 ONLY from 4 to 8 p.m. in the trailer located outside the front of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit at 520 Raymond Street in Bismarck. A Mass of Christian burial for Father Leonard Eckroth will be 10 a.m. on Friday, June 26 at the Church of St. Joseph, Mandan Visitation will be Thursday, June 25, from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary/vigil at 7 p.m. at the Church of St. Joseph.

June 21, 2026 - members of the Minot Serra hosted their 9th Annual "Big Smoke" in Minot! The winners of the competition included the team led by Fr. Adam Maus - and the "People's Choice" Award went to the team at St. Theresa the Little Flower in Minot. Pictured are a few of the seminarians from our Diocese that served the meal.

Reminder: The televised Sunday Mass on West Dakota FOX that airs weekly at 11:30 p.m. will move to 12:00 a.m. on Sundays, 6/28 and 7/05. This change is due to FOX airing World Cup Nightly from 11:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

We share the sad news that Father Leonard Eckroth passed away this morning. Details of his funeral arrangements will be forthcoming.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
