Monsignor gave us a fervorino after Mass and then we ate a quick supper and went out to the desert for a beautiful evening of fun and fellowship! We also had. “Legends Talk” from Father Crane, who took over the conductor podium for a few moments! 🙌🏼 Otherwise, we spent today putting some finishing touches on music for tomorrow’s Wheat Ceremony and Sunday’s New Student Mass. Also, a lovely angel helped us relabel the numbers on our robes—amazing! We are so grateful to everyone who helps us!

🤗 Tonight each section went into town for a community activity…looks like fun was had by all. They are also working on the annual section scavenger hunt challenge. Today the Benedictine Oblates of Mary stopped by to run vespers in preparation for next week. Dr. Raber was at Faculty sessions, so the students worked on their own…they are the best!!!!!

Another stellar day today—we were so happy to sing for Mass at St. Joseph this afternoon! We rehearsed a bunch this morning and each singer chose “their window.” Sections got a jump on the Section Scavenger Hunt Challenge before ending with night prayer. Thanks to all of our wonderful singers for their efforts today!

Today was a great day! We had our first rehearsal, practicing for Masses tomorrow and Sunday in town as well as sight-reading a ton of new music. Father Gardner gave an inspiring “Legends Talk” to the students. We had a cookout with the Benedictine Oblates of Mary and then finished up with our first Emmaus Walk (students are paired up to go for a walk together to get to know each other). We ended, as always, with evening prayer at the Grotto!
