📖✨ This Sunday at Calvary Bisbee, we finished our study through the book of 2 Peter, ending in chapter 3 with a powerful reminder to stay grounded in Scripture and prepared for the return of Christ.

Pastor Ryan shared about stirring up our minds, guarding against false teaching, and living lives that reflect eternity.

This message was especially meaningful because it was Pastor Ryan’s last sermon here at Calvary Bisbee. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye, but we are excited to see what this next season holds for the Borquez family and their ministry at Calvary Sierra Vista.

Please keep them in your prayers as God leads them into this new chapter. ❤️

Sunday’s message at Calvary Bisbee with Pastor Ryan really spoke to our hearts.

📖 2 Peter 1:16–21 & 2 Peter 2:1–3

We talked about how we know Jesus truly is the Messiah not because of feelings or experiences alone, but because of the truth of Scripture. God’s Word is our foundation and our protection.

“This world is a dark place, but walking with God gives us a light that shines through the darkness.” ✨
A few reminders that stood out to me today:
• Scripture is the final authority
• Don’t elevate experiences above God’s Word
• Jesus lived a sinless life and died for our sins
• God protects us through His Word from false teaching

So thankful for biblical teaching that points us back to Jesus and His truth. ❤️🙏
