This coming Sunday, 26 Jul, is our Obednitsa service.
09 Aug is our Divine Liturgy.
23 Aug is our Obednitsa.
All services will start at 10:00am.

The only change is a dropped Obednitsa in May, because we added a Divine Liturgy on the 31st for Pentecost.

Thank you all who came to the Great and Holy Pascha Liturgy at St. Stephen Nemanja Serbian Orthodox Church. If I counted correctly, we had 55 people there. I feel so blessed to see a full church.
For those that missed it, we missed you.
May the Lord continue to bless our community.
Our next service is on April 26 at 10:00 a.m.

As a reminder, this coming Sunday is Palm Sunday. It’s one of the major feasts of the Church. This is the beginning of Holy Week, when Christ enters Jerusalem. Everyone, please join us in Celebrating this major feast day.

We will have a Divine Liturgy this coming Sunday, 08 March, 10:00am.
And, The Obednitsa service on 22 March, 10:00am.

Good morning, All.
As of yesterday, we have officially entered our Paschal season. Yesterday was the Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee.
Our next service is 08 February, 10:00am. This is the Sunday of the Prodigal Son.

We also have the Blessing of having a guest priest, Fr. Paul from San Diego, on 15 February. This is an important Sunday for us. We will celebrate our patron saint’s feast day. Please join us for our Slava Feast for Saint Stephen Nemanja. As usual, we’ll start Divine Liturgy at 10:00.
The 15th is Judgement Sunday and Meatfare Sunday. This is the last day for eating meat for the Lenten Fast.

Starting Monday, 16 Feb, is the week of Cheesefare. During this week, meat is not eaten, but everything else is, including fish.

22 Feb, is Cheesefare Sunday. This is the last day to eat dairy, fish, wine, and olive oil. The following day, 23 Feb, starts the full Lenten Fast.
On 22 Feb, is Forgiveness Sunday. We will celebrate an Obednitsa starting at 10:00.

Don’t forget. We’ll be having our Christmas Eve get together on 06 January at 6:30pm in the community hall. And our Christmas Divine Liturgy on 07 January at 10:00am in the church.

Good morning, all.
Just a friendly December update.
We will have a Divine Liturgy on Dec 14, and an Obednitsa on Dec 28. Both at 10:00am.
Again, our Nativity celebrations will be on the evening of 06 Jan (time TBD), and Divine Liturgy on 07 Jan. 10:00am.

Good morning all. Once again, it was wonderful to celebrate the Obednitsa with you all, yesterday.
Our next service will be a Divine Liturgy on 09 November, with Fr. John and me. Then an Obednitsa on 23 November with me.
I want to give everyone a heads up. As you all know, we at St. Stephen’s follow the old church calendar. Christmas for us is on 07 January. So, as usual, we will have a get together on Christmas Eve, 06 January , and a Divine Liturgy on 07 January. It’ll be at our normal time, 10:00 am.
Mark your calendars. This is in the middle of the week. So, if you need to put in for time off work, please do so. This is a major feast day in the church. We’d miss you terribly if you weren’t able to make it.
This will also shift our normal dates of services, the 2nd and 4th Sundays. There won’t be the normal 2nd Sunday service. The one on the 7th will take its place.
If you have any questions, we can talk more at the Divine Liturgy on the 9th of November.
