The St. Monica Ministry provides
(1) support and compassion through in-person meetings;
(2) practical tips grounded in Church teaching and explored through regular discussion of relevant and authentically Catholic books;
(3) ministry-sponsored Holy Hours that not only implore God’s graces and mercy upon our prodigals but also serve to strengthen our sense of community, nurture our hope, and renew our sense of purpose;
(4) original prayers, such as the Rosary of Supplication and the Litany of the Wayfaring St. Monica, that speak to both the needs of prodigals and to the yearning of those who are praying for the return of the fallen away;
(5) a monthly newsletter containing news articles, homilies, an events calendar, a list of parish-based St. Monica Ministry chapters, and the popular "Prayers for Prodigals" list, which includes the names of prodigals to be “adopted” as the beneficiaries of prayers, works, and sacrifices;
(6) "Hands & Hearts" rosary-making events, which allow participants to each create and take home a rosary designed especially for praying loved ones home to the Faith;
(7) a unique St. Monica icon, suitable for meditation and lovingly created by a retired priest of the Diocese of Allentown;
(8) a digital “Welcome Kit” of resources, including a PDF of the St. Monica Ministry Manual, which carries an Imprimatur from Bishop Schlert, and
(9) one-on-one, 24/7 support and compassion via Zoom or email.

Our monthly St. Monica Ministry Holy Hour WILL TAKE PLACE this evening at 6:00; however, due to illness, both the potluck and the "family theme" of the Holy Hour will be postponed. Please help spread the word.

We are truly blessed to have Msgr. Myron Grabowsky of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia presiding at tonight's Holy Hour. All are welcome to join us in praying before the Most Blessed Sacrament for the retun to the Church of fallen-away loved ones.
