The Power Of Worshiping Jesus No Matter What!

10/20/2026

Why would you put your hope in created things and not in the Creator of those things?

Think about that for a second. We build our whole sense of security on paper. Paper we hand to other people. Paper that burns. Paper that is worth something only because a room full of strangers agreed it is.

And the whole time there is a Creator who spoke everything into existence. The stars. The ocean. Your lungs. Nothing in that list required a vote.

Here is the thing. Created things make terrible gods. They were never built to carry you. He was.

WATCH OUT

Some things look good. Some things taste good. And some things will still take you out.

Watch what you listen to. Watch where you put your hope. Watch what you let define purpose for your life. The lie rarely shows up ugly. It shows up appealing, reasonable, and right on time.

Here is the thing. Chocolate-covered poison goes down easy. That is the whole problem. You do not feel it on the way down. You feel it later, when it is already in you.

So watch out. 🎧

Five years. One amazing Sunday.

Berkeley showed up. The line went down the sidewalk, the room was full, and we worshiped like people who know exactly how faithful God has been.

To our Dream Team: you made it feel like home before anyone walked through the door. To everyone who came back, and everyone who came for the first time: you already belong.

Here is the thing. Five years in, we are still becoming. And the best is yet to come.

See you Sunday, 10:30AM at 3201 Shattuck Ave.

For the city,
Raymond
