According to God's word being faithful in the little things is what builds us as Believers.

If we can't be faithful in the little things (going to church, reading our Bible, being faithful in witnessing, etc.), then why would God trust us with bigger things (preaching, teaching, leadership, etc.)?

God is not telling us not to do big things when He provides an opportunity, but rather be faithful in the small things, so that when He sees your faithfulness He can give you bigger things.

If you will be faithful in the least, then you will be faithful in the much.

If every Christian won one person for Christ in a year, then in 25 years there would be millions of new believers. Even though things are hard we need to still do them. Ignoring small things will create a lot of damage, or a lack of souls saved.

Are you so focused on being seen and praised for doing great/big things that nothing else is worth your time? - causing you to not serve at all?

Or... Are you willing to be faithful in the small things so that God can use you well? And then... Maybe, one day He can help you do Great/Big things Him?

The Mother/daughter banquet yummy treats.

Thank you to all the wonderful ladies and girls that were able to attend our annual Mother/daughter banquet. It was a precious time of fellowship and growth.

Mrs. Karen Hoiseth gave a beautiful devotional about growing in Grace. Plants start with a seed, then it starts to sprout and then finally it produces fruit. Our Christian life is the same. The seed of Christ is planted in our lives at salvation, then we slowly learn and grow in our faith (start with small things, like a baby drinking milk, then you go to heartier foods when more mature), and then if we continue on we will start producing fruit for Christ.

If you were not able to attend this weekend, then be on lookout for next year. It is always a wonderful spending time among God's women.

Come join us at Northwoods Baptist church for our Sunday morning service at 10:30 and Sunday School. We also have an evening service on Wednesday nights at 6:30.

This is the type of heart we need. One that admits that we are nothing without God. That God is far beyond ourselves. We need to go to him with a humble heart.

Thank you all for join us and our visiting speaker, Sam Davison, on Friend Day.

We looked at how high and mighty our Wonderful God really is. We cannot fully understand how great he truly is, and yet he is still a personal God. He humbles himself to even look upon his creation, and yet chose sacrifice his son so that we can have fellowship with him.

Wow!
