A wonderful commemoration of our nation's 250th anniversary took place in our church lounge following worship. It was so delicious, and so fun visiting!

I share the disappointment regarding the Southern Baptist Convention's recent vote to further restrict women from pastoral leadership.

The United Methodist Church has affirmed the full clergy rights and ordination of women since 1956. If you are seeking a church home that welcomes women to preach, lead, and serve according to their calling, our congregations—and our open Communion table—await you. Should you prefer to remain Baptist, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Alliance of Baptists also fully affirm women in ministry.

Whatever your path, please know that God’s call is never limited by gender
