Sacred Heart and St. Monica Catholic Church Parish Family is excited for Sharon, our High School Youth Minister, as she begins the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage!

This summer, during the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, a young Seattle Catholic will be right alongside the Blessed Sacrament.

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus at Sacred Heart for coordinating the Silver Rose Pilgrimage we recently hosted! It was a wonderful evening of prayer honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe.

All are welcome to join the Sacred Heart community for a Knights of Columbus tradition that began in 1960 to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe, promoting reverence for the sanctity of life. Originally involving a single rose traveling from Canada to Mexico, the program now features eight silver roses following various North American routes, culminating in a ceremony at the Basilica in Monterrey, Mexico, on Dec. 12, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Sacred Heart Parish is honored to host the Silver Rose Pilgrimage on Monday, May 4, at 5:00 PM, and we look forward to sharing this special evening with you.

Fr. Joseph enjoyed spending time with our 5th-grade Sacred Heart School students yesterday, as they wrapped up their three-day environmental camp. He celebrated Mass with the students and reminded them that God is Good, All the Time!

Many of you will have heard of the passing of Ms. Hannah Takemori, a former staff member of both Sacred Heart and St. Monica Parishes, and beloved teacher at St. Monica School. We pray as a community for the repose of her soul, and that peace and healing be granted to those who mourn.
