Hope Presbyterian Church

Hope Presbyterian Church Sundays at 10:30am at 10936 NE 24th Street, Bellevue, WA 98004.

After arriving in Seattle in 2012, Reverend Dan McManigal and his family began worshiping at Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Monroe, Washington. As they were settling into their new church, the Session at WOPC asked Dan if he would consider partnering with them to establish a new Presbyterian Chapel. Simultaneously, God was preparing the hearts of Presbyterian and reformed families for

a new work in Southeastern King County. In God's providential timing, this budding opportunity, first manifesting itself as a Sunday evening Bible study in Bellevue, Washington, has continued blooming into the vibrant church plant it has blossomed into.

Listen below to Pastor Martin’s sermon, “The Danger of Apostasy,” from Hebrews 6:4–8.
This passage gives a sober warning against drifting from Christ and hardening your heart toward Him. Yet it is also a message of deep encouragement: if you belong to Christ, He will not let you go. He nourishes His people through His Word, calls us to keep growing in faith, and holds us securely in His hand. Rather than despair, cling to Christ with confidence, trusting that nothing can sn**ch His sheep from the Father’s hand.

Hebrews reminds us that Jesus is our great High Priest. We are known in our weakness, met with gentleness, and represented perfectly by Jesus, whom God Himself appointed as mediator for us.
Listen below to Pastor Martin’s sermon “Our Gentle and Lowly High Priest” (on Hebrews 5:1–6). The link below also includes a downloadable PDF transcript for those who benefit from reading along while listening.
