FACES OF GRETNA 🤍

This week, we're excited to introduce Susan Culp.

Susan serves on Gretna's Leadership Team and has been a faithful part of our church family for many years. Her heart for serving others and her love for the people of Gretna is evident in the way she lives out her faith.

✝Tell us a little about yourself.
"I'm married to Greg, and together we have three children, Allison, Ryan, and Matthew. We have been blessed with a wonderful family and parents"

✝What brought you to Gretna?
"My husband and I came to Gretna when we moved back home in 2005. Greg's parents, Jerry and Barb Culp, had been attending for awhile and invited us to come."

✝What do you love most about Gretna?
"The feeling of family. If someone says they're praying for you, they truly are. If they say they'll bring you a meal, they will. The people of Gretna genuinely care for one another like family."

✝How has God been working in your life recently?
"In the last 6 months, I've had some health struggles and GOd has shown me His love through the people of Gretna. He has also used this time to strengthen my trust in him, my dependence on the Holy Spirit and understand patience to a degree I never thought was possible."

✝Favorite Bible Verse?
"One recently shared by a friend through my health struggles, Exodus 14:14, The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

FACES OF GRETNA: Meet Alecia Henry

Since someone had to go first... I guess it's me!😜

Hi! I'm Alecia, and I have the privilege of serving as Gretna's Operation Admin.

If you've received an email from the church, seen a Facebook post, registered for an event, or had a question about church happenings, there's a good chance we've connected! I love serving behind the scenes to help keep things running smoothly so our ministries can thrive.

My husband and I are blessed with 3 children and another on the way. Life is full of sports, activities, laughter, and making memories together. While life is certainly busy, we're thankful to be raising a family in a church that loves and encourages one another.

✝WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO GRETNA? ✝
Initially, it was the opportunity to serve as Gretna's Operations Admin that brought me here. What I didn't expect was how quickly Gretna would feel like home. My family and I were welcomed with genuine kindness, and this church has become more than my workplace, its our church family.

✝WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT GRETNA?✝
The people. Gretna is a church that truly cares for one another. Whether celebrating life's joys or walking through difficult seasons, people here love and support each other in meaningful ways.

One of the greatest blessings of Gretna is the people who make up our church family.

Over the coming weeks we'll be introducing you to the individuals and families who worship, serve, and grow together here at Gretna. From ministry leaders and volunteers to longtime members and newer faces, each person has a unique story that reflects God's faithfulness.

Whether you've been part of Gretna for years or you're just getting to know us, we hope these highlights help you feel more connected to our church family.

Sundays are a gift, and we're thankful we get to spend time together. ❤

As we finish Colossians and begin Ephesians, we're reminded of who we are in Christ and how God calls us to live as one body, growing together in faith, love, and unity.

We pray God's Word encourages you throughout the week.
