Waiting is one of the hardest parts of the Christian life.

Waiting for change… for direction… for God to move.

But Genesis 21 reminds us of something steady and sure: God is never late, never failing, and always faithful to His word.

Come be encouraged this Sunday as we walk through Genesis 21:1–7 together.

This Sunday – Genesis 20 (Part 2)

Last week, we saw Abraham’s failure.

This week, we see something greater: God’s faithfulness.

God steps in—not just to forgive sin, but to confront it, restrain it, and restore what was threatened.

This passage reminds us:

• God moves first
• God protects His promises
• God uses broken people
• God restores what sin threatens

And ultimately, it points us to Christ. The true and better mediator, who never failed and always intercedes for His people.

“Our failures are real… but they are not final because God is faithful.”

Come ready to be humbled, encouraged, and reminded where your hope truly rests.

New Sermon Series Begins This Sunday

We’re slowing down and spending the next two weeks in Genesis 20.

It’s a short chapter—but it’s not a simple one.

Here, we see Abraham… not at his best, but at his worst. Fear. Compromise. Failure.

And it forces us to ask: What do we do when God’s people fail? What do we do when we fail?

This week, we’ll look at Abraham’s failure—the fear of man and the consequences of sin. Next week, we’ll see God’s faithfulness—His mercy, His protection, and His unshakable promises.

Scripture doesn’t hide this truth: Our sin is real… but God’s grace is greater.

Come ready to be honest, to be humbled, and to see the faithfulness of God.
