The University of Oregon is hosting a welcome dinner on January 8 for the Gaza student Mohammed Alfarra and his family! We had done a fundraiser for the students earlier this year. Members of the Bilal community are welcome to join this event. They need to pre-register for the event if they are planning to attend at the following link tinyurl.com/studentwelcomedinner

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oun. To God we belong and to God we shall return.
Our beloved Imam, Muhammad A. Najieb, passed away before the dawn this morning.
Imam Najieb was a pioneer and pillar of MCCP and the greater Portland Muslim community for several decades. He embodied love, service, and sacrifice and he will be missed dearly.

We pray that Allah grants our beloved Imam Najieb a most beautiful and elevated station in paradise, and that the hearts of his family and all who loved him find tranquility, amin.

The Janazah Prayer will be this Wednesday December 11th after Dhuhr prayer at 12:30pm at MCCP, inshaa'Allah.

A Message from Bilal Sunday School:

Assalamoalaikum,

Bilal Sunday school welcomes you to another school year and invites you to register your children for the 2024-2025 academic year. The learning will be in person this year.

Registration is only online this year from August 16th to September 10th.

Your child must be 6 years old by September 1st, 2024, and enrolled in 1st grade in elementary school to qualify for admission in grade 1 in Sunday School.
