For 140 years, the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon have inspired generations through faith, education, compassionate care, and service. Recently, Valley Catholic second graders honored this milestone by leading a beautiful Heritage Prayer Service, a reminder that the values we pass on today shape tomorrow.

August is Make-A-Will Month, a great time to create or update your estate plan. Through our partnership with FreeWill, you can create your will at no cost and, if you choose, include a gift to the SSMO Foundation to help carry the Sisters' mission forward for generations to come.

The 2026 Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon Jubilee was a joyful celebration of lives dedicated to faith, service and community.

This year, Sister Ruth Frank celebrated her 70th anniversary as a Sister of St. Mary of Oregon, and Sister Josephine Pelster commemorated her 60th Jubilee.
