This weekend, Audrey relaunched our journey through 1 Timothy with UNCOMPROMISED, looking at what spiritual growth really means.

We had some technical issues during the message and the video recording cut out partway through 😬. We’re working diligently to get those problems fixed, but we still wanted to share the heart of the message.

In 1 Timothy 3:1–14, Paul shows us that maturity is much less about what we have, achieve, or build—and much more about who we are becoming.

Spiritual maturity isn’t about becoming more impressive. It’s about becoming more integrated—bringing every part of our lives under the transforming work of Jesus.

To live uncompromised, we have to become increasingly undivided people.

And this is a pretty good reminder: the best way not to miss what God is doing is to be in the room. 😉 Join us in person this Sunday as we continue through 1 Timothy

• SUNDAY RECAP •

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we don’t have our usual online sermon available from Sunday. But here’s a recap to catch you up! But here’s a recap to catch you up as we wrapped up our series on The Voice of Reason.

When someone hurts us, we rarely think, “You owe me,” yet that is often what resentment becomes: an internal account we keep reopening. Jesus uses that same language in the Lord’s Prayer, teaching us to ask the Father to forgive our debts as we forgive our debtors, then immediately returning to forgiveness in Matthew 6:14–15. That creates a difficult question: if salvation is by grace, what does Jesus mean when He says the Father will not forgive those who refuse to forgive? Through Jesus’ story of the unforgiving servant and the picture of a child staying upstairs while the family gathers below, the message explores how unforgiveness can leave us spiritually stuck even while the Father’s invitation remains open. Debt asks what we are still trying to collect, what it is costing us, and what might happen if we finally release the account into God’s hands.

What are you missing in your life with God because you are still upstairs holding the grudge? Sometimes the person has left the room, but our mind keeps reopening the account and charging interest. At some point we have to ask: are we willing to keep paying just to make sure they pay?

What if the Lord’s Prayer is meant to change us just as much as it changes what we’re praying about?

This past Sunday, Pastor Tim continued our Voice of Reason series by walking through the Lord’s Prayer line by line and unpacking what each phrase means for the way we actually live.

You’re Invited to the Demo Party!

This Sunday, August 16th, after service, we’re rolling up our sleeves and kicking off our bathroom remodel the fun way… with a Demo Party! 💥🔨

Come help us tear out the old as we make room for something new! Whether you can stay for 15 minutes or a couple of hours, we’d love to have you join the team. No special skills required—just bring work clothes, gloves if you have them, and a willingness to serve.

Many hands make light work, and this is a great opportunity to be part of what God is doing at OneChurch. Let’s make some memories (and maybe a little dust) together!

See you Sunday after service!

If God already knows everything, why does He still want us to pray?

In Sunday’s message, Pastor Brad unpacked why prayer is less about informing God and more about sharing life with Him.

The God who already knows everything about you still wants you to come and talk to Him.

CHURCH, LET’S PRAY FOR CAMP!

This week, our kids and youth are heading to camp—and we have the incredible opportunity to cover them in prayer! ❤️

Let’s pray for:
✨ Hearts to be open
🔥 A fresh passion and hunger for Jesus
🙌 Lives that are changed and faith that grows
🤝 Meaningful friendships and godly connections
🛡️ Safety for every camper, leader, and volunteer
💛 That every student would know they are deeply loved by God

Pray that this would be more than just a fun week away—that it would be a life-changing encounter with Jesus that they carry home with them.
