🍂 Our Pre-K4 students went on a leaf hunt and then used the leaves to create beautiful fall artwork!

These students have been learning about the seasons and all the wonderful things that happen during fall. The leaves change into beautiful colors, and we talked about how God created each leaf to be unique and beautiful, just like He created each of us!

The students picked out their own leaves, painted them, and stamped them onto paper to create their very own fall masterpieces! 🍁🎨

Another great season of Flag Football at Beaverdam Christian Academy has come to a close!

What an absolute privilege to watch this group of students learn how to work together, gain confidence in athletics, while also being encouraged in who they are in Christ. None of this would be possible without the extraordinary efforts of our coaches and volunteers! Danny Hunt and Michael Helbig, thank you for leading this program! Mrs. Smith, Josiah Sullivan, Scott Rozier, Jesse Martin, Kason Howe, thank you for your sacrifice of time and energy and commitment to the team!

We can’t wait to be back this spring! 🏈

This is what it looks like at the end of a school day at Beaverdam Christian Academy. 🙏

Little hands joined together, little heads bowed, and little hearts lifted in prayer.

We begin our day with Jesus, and we end our day with Jesus. Because faith isn’t just something we teach here, it’s the foundation of everything we do.

Our prayer is that these children will carry this faith with them long after they leave our classrooms.

What a blessing to be part of a school where Jesus is at the center of it all.

🇺🇸📚 Bringing History to Life in Third Grade! ✂️🏛️

Our third graders have been hard at work building their very own Benjamin Franklin project models, bringing history to life through creativity, research, and hands-on learning!

From a post office and library to the Union Fire Company, these students have been exploring Benjamin Franklin’s many contributions and the lasting impact he made on our country. We love seeing their hard work, creativity, and learning come together in such fun and meaningful ways! ❤️💙💛

Way to go, third grade! 👏🇺🇸

We were so blessed to have Jacob, the NextGen Minister at Local Christian Church in Ashland, share God’s Word with our students!

Through an engaging and memorable lesson from 1 Corinthians 12, Jacob reminded us that the Church is the Body of Christ, and every single one of us has a unique purpose. God has given each of us different gifts, talents, and interests, and every part matters! We may all have different roles to play, but we are called to work together, care for one another, and use what God has given us to bring Him glory.

Thank you, Jacob, for sharing your heart with our students and reminding them that they are valued, needed, and created with a purpose in the Body of Christ!
“You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27

🐝🏈 A GAME DAY TO REMEMBER! 💙💛

Beaverdam Christian Academy football team had an incredible outing today at Randolph-Macon College’s Homecoming game! Our Eagles got to stand on the field as the players came charging out of the tunnel, then returned at halftime for high-fives with the players!

A HUGE shout-out to Coach Danny for organizing this special day for our team!

Our Second Grade Class has been learning about early Native Americans in history. The students chose a Native American home to build, wrote a paragraph about the home they chose, what region in the US they were found, and a what the Native American’s were known for in their region. Then presented their homes and reports to the class. Great job 2nd grade!
