Praise the Lord that God’s people answered God’s call to be examples of God’s rivers of grace overflowing to a world in need! All praise honor & glory be to our Savior Jesus Christ!

Stop the presses!!!! (I have always wanted to say that 🤣)

🚨 WE HAVE OUR FIRST MEMBER OF THE 1,000 CLUB! 🚨

Yesterday, Riverside Church in Beaverdam rolled in with an incredible 912 items, gathered and blessed by their congregation.

Impressive, right?

Apparently, Riverside wasn’t finished. 😂

I received a private message from someone who had forgotten to drop off their donations at the church. Those poor cans had been riding around in the car for a few days, patiently waiting for their moment.

Well, today was their moment.

After my heart doctor appointment, Anonymous met me at our storage unit with another 119 items.

And just like that…

RIVERSIDE CHURCH: 1,031 ITEMS!

They are officially the FIRST group to break 1,000 in our 50 Can Challenge!

Somewhere, I suspect the ladies from Newcomers and Old Friends Club just felt a disturbance in the Force. 😂

But underneath all the fun and friendly competition is something pretty incredible.

God whispered into the ears of this congregation, and they didn't just listen , they responded in a huge way.

Thank you, Riverside Church in Beaverdam, for blessing Simply Angels and the veterans we serve.

1,031 items.

The bar has officially been raised.

And judging by how competitive some of you are getting...I don't think this is over. ❤️ 🎯

Hi church,

We are Ryan and Tera Sanford, grandchild of Ed and Carlene Crisp! Our daughter Nettie was recently diagnosed with Leukemia!

We are so incredibly thankful for the way you have surrounded our family with love and support during this season. You have stepped in and cared for us so generously as our daughter fights her cancer battle. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support have lifted burdens during a time when so much feels heavy and uncertain.

It is incredibly humbling to see the body of Christ show up in such a tangible way. Thank you for loving our girl, supporting our family, and being the hands and feet of Jesus to us through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. We are more grateful than we could ever fully express.

With deepest gratitude,
The Sanford family
