Special shout out to the Best In Show winner Cathy Renner from Ashland and her immaculate 1999 red Chevy Corvette. Also thanks to Lynne Berkness from Liberation Veteran Services for spending the day with us and helping to present the trophy plaques!

Wow what a day!! Thanks so much to everyone who came out today to support our 8th annual car show and cruise-in!! We had perfect weather and so many amazing vehicles participate - and a big turnout from our wonderful Beaverdam community! Best of all we raised over $1000 for Liberation Veteran Services, a Richmond based nonprofit that provides housing and other support to homeless veterans. Special thanks to Gayle's Auto Collision Repair for sponsoring our trophy plaques for this year’s show!! And also to Andy Schaeffer for doing a wonderful job as our emcee / DJ for the show!!

The weather is going to be prefect tomorrow (Saturday) for a car show in downtown Beaverdam!! Zion Christian Church, 16158 Beaverdam School Rd.  If you have a cool vintage or a late model car or a truck, we hope you will come out and participate in our show!  Registration is between 10 AM and noon - winners will be announced around 2 PM. We also invite everyone in the community to come out to the show for free - walk around and check out all of the unique and fun vehicles, and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch prepared by our church Men’s group. Bring the kids - they love fancy cars and trucks - and we have a nice new playground too!

Looking forward to seeing everybody on Saturday for our 8th annual car show in downtown Beaverdam!  Forecast for Saturday looks to be perfect weather for a car show - 73 and partly sunny!.  We have 16 cool trophies to give away. Can’t wait to see who takes home the Best in Show prize!  Don’t forget you can save $5 on registration by simply sending an email to [email protected] by midnight on Wed May 27 (and pay at the gate).

Only 2 WEEKS until Zion’s 8th annual Car Show in downtown Beaverdam! Sat May 30. If you have a really cool vintage or late model car or truck, we would love to have you come out and participate in our show! If you don’t have a show vehicle, it’s free to attend and check out the cool vehicles.  Our Church men’s group will be serving our famous pork BBQ for lunch and our women’s group will have delicious baked goods for sale.

It’s the middle of a cold and snowy winter but also a good time to start thinking about spring, sunshine and car shows!!

Mark your calendar and plan to join us in downtown Beaverdam for our 8th annual car show and cruise-in on Saturday, May 30, 2026. (Rain date June 6).  Details below on the show and this year‘s trophy classes. Shoutout to Gayle's Auto Collision Repair LLC in Beaverdam for being our trophy sponsor this year!

Location - 16158 Beaverdam School Road, Beaverdam, VA, 23015.

Registration 10 am – Noon. Judging will be done by the registered show participants only – competitor choice – one ballot per vehicle. Ballots will be turned in to the registration desk by 1 pm, and the trophy presentations will start by 2:00 pm.

$20 registration fee at the gate. Save $5 -- only $15 for early registration by sending email to [email protected] by May 27. Entry will be free for those who want to bring their vehicle and cruise-in but do not want to participate in the competition or judging.

We will award a Best in Show trophy plaque as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy plaques for four classes: 1959 and older cars, 1960-1969 cars, 1970-1979 cars, 1980 and newer cars, and any year Truck.

Full day of fun activities include: 50/50 raffle, door prizes, DJ playing oldies music, music trivia with prizes, Pork BBQ dinners and sandwiches, and a bake sale.

Net proceeds from the car show and raffle will go to support Liberation Veteran Services, a Richmond-based organization that provides housing and other support for homeless veterans in central Virginia.
