The faithful are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial for Most Rev. John H. Ricard, SSJ, fourth bishop of our diocese, on Friday June 5 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

Mass will start at 11:00 a.m. CT and will be preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. CT.

Solemn Vespers will be prayed the night before, Thursday June 4, beginning at 5:00 p.m. CT at the Cathedral.

With faith in the Resurrection, we join the Josephite Community and the faithful around the country in honoring the life and legacy of Bishop John H. Ricard, S.S.J., Superior General of The Josephite Society.

Please continue to keep the Josephites, Bishop Ricard’s family, friends, and all who mourn his passing in your prayers.

Funeral arrangements are listed on the image. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. 🙏🏾

Congratulations to another one of our graduates.

I thank you for blessing with this Amazing son. I also thank you God for giving me strength to raise this young man. It wasn’t always easy but it has been so worth it. Jaiden “Dr.Parker” Parker son you did it. I have never felt joy like I felt today when I seen you walk across that stage. My emotions were all over the place. At that moment I felt your dad presence in the room. I just knew he was smiling down on us and so happy to see his oldest get his diploma. This is just the beginning I have no doubt that today is just the beginning. Thank you to my village. I couldn’t make without y’all. There is so much I want to say but Big NEI is tired so I will share later. 😂 anyway my 2nd born did it!
