CENTERED ON THE REAL PRESENCE OF JESUS CHRIST. INSPIRED BY MARY. SHARING HIS MERCY WITH ALL. George Parish has been a worshipping community in South Baton Rouge for more than 115 years. The Parish is located directly off the Interstate at Siegen Lane and I-10. Founded from St. Joseph Cathedral as a tiny one room mission church, St. George has grown into a vibrant, active parish of over 3,600 famil

ies. In addition to daily and weekly Eucharistic celebrations, St. George offers many opportunities for parishioners to participate fully in the life of the parish. Through the six commissions -- liturgy, spiritual life, administration, education, community/family life, and social responsibility -- parishioners can share their gifts through ministering to fellow parishioners or the greater kingdom.

✨ BIG NEWS ✨

What started as a simple "yes" to a need has grown into something far beyond what we ever imagined.

Today, we are excited to share that a nonprofit organization has been established to support and expand the mission of All Are Welcome Ministry.

Over the past few years, we have watched God work through this community in incredible ways. We've seen friendships formed, families supported, parishes become more inclusive, and individuals with disabilities recognized for the unique gifts they bring to the Body of Christ.

As the ministry continues to grow, we want to be able to say "yes" to more opportunities, reach more families, develop new programs and resources, and build a strong foundation for the future.

This new nonprofit structure will help make that possible.

Most importantly, one thing is not changing:

💙 All Are Welcome Ministry will continue to operate under the guidance of Deacon Randall Waguespack and in collaboration with the Diocese of Baton Rouge Office of Life, Peace, and Justice.

Our mission remains the same:
To ensure that individuals of all abilities and their families are seen, welcomed, valued, and fully included in the life of the Catholic Church.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We can't wait to see what God has planned next.

Did you know that many Catholics are uncertain about what the Church teaches regarding the Eucharist?

Fr. Eddie invites you to join him as he shares the astounding truth at the heart of our faith: that Jesus Christ is truly present—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—in the Holy Eucharist. He will reflect on this mystery of the Real Presence and why it is the source and summit of the Christian life.
