THIS SUNDAY’S START OF THE NATIONAL EUCHARISTIC PILGRIMAGE WITH MASS FOR THE SOLEMNITY OF PENTECOST:
From our St. Augustine (FL) Diocesan President-
St Augustine, Florida serves as the launching point of the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage.
In honor of America’s 250th year, the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will carry the theme “One Nation Under God.”
One Nation Under God is not a slogan—it’s an invitation to realign our lives, communities, and country under the sovereignty of Christ. It’s a call to build unity through prayer, and to let Jesus, present in the Eucharist, renew and heal the heart of our country, one soul at a time.
Details on attending the Opening Mass in-person and virtually by livestream are as follows:
OPENING PENTECOST MASS-

** This shrine is near the site of the first Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated in 1565, marking the beginning of Catholic life in what is now the United States.

Event Details:
Opening Mass of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage “St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Route” on the celebration of Pentecost.
St. Augustine Bishop Erik Pohlmeier, KC*HS will celebrate the Opening Mass, followed later in the afternoon by a Eucharistic procession at 5 p.m. from the shrine through historic St. Augustine to the Cathedral Basilica.
