What a weekend! First we began with Dr. Alison Boden’s presentation of the Gospel of Matthew from memory on Saturday, and then this morning we had Bishop Trevor Walter’s visiting for confirmations!
Everett, Elizabeth, Karleigh, Samuel, and Rucker were all confirmed while Demelza took her first vow in her discernment towards the consecrated single life.
Following Holy Eucharist we went out into the community picking up trash and needles, praying as we went. Even Bishop Walters jumped in! The Lord is doing amazing things here in Bangor!!

Happy Feast of Pentecost!
Joel 2:28

Will Pour Out His Spirit

[28] “And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.

Easter Sunday 2026
O death, where is thy sting?
O Hell, where is thy victory?

Christ is Risen, and you, o death, are annihilated!
Christ is Risen, and the evil ones are cast down!
Christ is Risen, and the angels rejoice!
Christ is Risen, and life is liberated!

Christ is Risen, and the tomb is emptied of its dead;
for Christ having risen from the dead,
is become the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

To Him be Glory and Power forever and ever. Amen!
—St. John Chrysostom
