Temple of the Feminine Divine

Temple of the Feminine Divine We honor Mother Earth in celebrating the Sacred Feminine. We invite all faiths and traditions to join us as we celebrate Nature and the human spirit.

We are a legally recognized church with ordained clergy and offer public ritual for the eight Pagan seasonal celebrations, as well as a library, and spiritual counseling. We also host the Iseum Musicum, offering a three-year program culminating in legally recognized ordination. Our trained clergy are available to do handfastings, welcoming newborns, funerals, and all other rites of passage. Our p

ublic rituals on the eight Pagan seasonal celebrations are currently held online through Zoom due to Covid. All genders, faiths, and ages are welcome.

August's tarot card is, "Strength".
The Strength tarot card represents inner power, courage, patience, and compassion. It shows that true power comes from using a gentle touch and calm mind to master fears or wild impulses, rather than using force or anger.
The Strength card is a powerful reminder to tap into your inner resilience and courage. Now is the time to confront challenges with grace and confidence, recognizing that true strength lies in compassion and patience. You should focus on nurturing relationships, offering support to those around you while also standing firm in your beliefs. Engage in activities that build both physical and emotional endurance, such as yoga or meditation, which can help center your energy. Additionally, consider volunteering or mentoring someone who could benefit from your guidance; this will not only strengthen bonds but also reinforce your sense of purpose.

May the Goddess grace their blessings upon you.

We celebrate the bright fertility of summer and the festival of Lughnasadh. We give thanks for the long easy days of light and warmth, the rich colours of nature’s abundance, and the first harvest of grain. We also honour the reaping of our own harvest, grateful for its nourishment and for the seeds of our future life and potential.

Apologies for not having a Lughnasadh meet up. We are going through a tremendous amount of stress and grief and are keeping close to home for a bit.
That being said, please feel free to get together with your loved ones and enjoy the ocean, the breeze, the tranquility and just breathe. Take time to enjoy the "simple" things in life. Look for that cool rock. Embrace that elder tree. Close your eyes and feel the sun and air. Put your feet into the earth, wiggle your toes, walk into the ocean, feel the salt breeze on your skin. Lay in your hammock/lounge chair in your backyard. Listen to the sounds. You may be surprised as to what you hear. Breathe in, breathe out. Find bliss in simple pleasures.
Take care my tribe. I will be in touch.

Good morning lovelies. I just performed a social experiment (on impulse) in a group that is for folks, mostly women who are over 60. Supposed to be a safe place.
I asked for folks to refrain from assuming it was a Christian only group, because there was a lot of Jesus talk, and it was OK they felt that way, but it seemed in my face. I was met with disdain and told to leave. I attempted to explain that I have never talked of my religion to them, why must they push Jesus on me?
So, when people were upset and asking for guidance, when many other's posted biblical verses, I posted Goddess blessings.
Wow, you'd think I was riding the red horse of their apocalypse in how much disdain I was given. People laughed at me and told me to leave. One said all Pagans were witches.
Well, because I cannot stand injustice and hate people spouting their faith is the only faith, I left it going in the group, and chose to distance myself from them, on my own terms, after posting seeds of thought (or hate, if they so believe).
I strive to walk the walk and talk the talk from all the teachings from the Goddess and my elders.
Please take note, If you post hate of the Abrahamic religions, please choose not to on here. You can pm me and commiserate together.
Thanks for understanding.

May her light guide your path throughout your day. ~~☆~~

With hearts heavy, I am sharing with you the news that Reverend Hazel Littlefield has passed on, early this morning. She passed in her sleep with Merlin at her side. She is free of Earthly constraints and was welcomed with glee by her husband Bruce that passed several years ago.

Any interest in getting together to just be in each other's presence? Ideally, no further than Bangor, Belfast, Waterville or Newport? Daytime, for an hour or two, only (for my part, that is).
I am in need of some like minded individuals to not feel alone in this discontent and disconnected world. Please reach out asap! Thanks

Michele Annette

May Ostara bring joy and easiness into your lives, may her fertility be passed over to you and may your dreams, ideas, wishes, plans ripen and bear new fruits. May the loveliness of spring open your hearts and may you understand the beauty of being and take it in.

Triple Goddess: Winter divination reading:

The cauldron of wisdom:
I drew the King of Wands.
Consider this card a reflection of the silent, shimmering pool of wisdom held within your soul. The King of Wands signifies a union of deep-seated intuition and outer authority. It is the realization that your most powerful leadership comes from the reservoir of truth held in your highest self.

Navigating Light and Shadow.
I drew the Four of Pentacles.
How can I navigate the interplay of light and darkness within myself during this season of introspection?
The four of Pentacles card invites you to look at where you are gripping too tightly. Within the deep reservoir of your being, are you holding onto your light out of fear, or hiding your darkness out of shame? True spiritual security comes not from what you possess or protect, but from the truth you are brave enough to release and express.

The Gateway to Transformation. I drew the Death card.
The Crone reminds us that for the New Year to begin, something must first be released. She guides you through the door where your security meets your transformation, encouraging you to expand beyond your current walls.
What must die within you so that your truest, most powerful vision can finally take flight? Death is the midwife of your evolution. As the Crone watches over the dissolving of your old life, she invites you to find the beauty in the ending—for this is where your deepest power is forged.

Extra card, The Lantern of Guidance: I drew the Two of Cups.
The Crone smiles as you reach the threshold of the Two of Cups, for she knows that all evolution ends in Love. Here, the cup of your life is refilled with the truth that you and the Divine are one.

Personal change isn't a battle you win; it's a relationship you cultivate.

I hope you enjoyed my reading for our community.
Blessing, Reverend Ember.
