If you didn't get a chance to catch the message, we did an overview on Job and anger. The book of Job reminds us that it's not about suffering, or even about Job, it's about God's laws, way and character are on trial.
First by the accuser, and then Job. In terms of anger, Job's wife displayed anger through doubt, grief and cursing God. For Job, though he gave reverence to God, eventually pleaded his case before God, and felt his anger towards God was justified.
We are reminded that if we are angry at God, we can approach Him in prayer, but God wants us to look deeper as to what's going on within us. Is our anger justified? Is it misplaced?
In addition, when others are angry and in grief, we need to be comfortable in the uncomfortable. Christians need to be the people willing to go into the awkward and deep emotions with others, and journey with them in their anger, grief and confusion.
