Breath Of God Lutheran Church

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and at least twenty-give church members are waking up this morning inside of Patterson Park, where we were camping with more than a hundred families last night as part of Park After Dark - Campout in the Park! Many thanks to all of those who participated, and to our partners-- Friends of Patterson Park and Rebecca Linton Hall.

Whether you spent the night outdoors or inside a comfortable home somewhere, know that you are very welcome this morning to gather with neighbors at Pratt & Clinton Streets to be nurtured by God's Word and at God's table in community with one another. Plus, after worship today we will celebrate Jimmy's birthday! Many thanks to Brenda Peters for helping to make that happen.

It is a beautiful morning here in Highlandtown--and hopefully wherever you are. And there are so many ways to enjoy it in community! Perhaps a walk or picnic in the park; perhaps a visit to Camden Yards; perhaps jumping in the harbor down in Fells Point; perhaps some good time with friends and family. Whatever the day has in store for you, may you have joy and peace, and be renewed for the week ahead.

You are also most welcome to gather in community with Breath Of God Lutheran Church at Pratt & Clinton Streets (or online!). We have an exciting morning for us as we wrap up our spring programming by featuring the leadership of our young people during worship today. We are also excited by their gifts, energy, questions, and leadership--and are grateful for how they will lead us through worship today.

It's live! Highlandtown Youth Night has been creating artwork all year long, and some of it is being featured at MICA's Pinkard Gallery! Many thanks to Emily Ewing, our HYN coordinator (and MICA student, and AmeriCorps Member, and more!) for providing this opportunity for our kids. The exhibit is up though mid June. Check it out!
