nged, from New Mount Zion Church of God in Christ, to The New Mount Zion Ministries. Under the leadership of Pastor James E. Johnson Sr., the newly renamed New Mount Zion Ministries is becoming one of the premier churches in the body of Christ. God is truly blessing the ministry, with growth in auxiliaries, discipleship, and outreach programs. On May 22, 2016, a special milestone was reached. Minister Shayla D. Redfearn, was ordained as the first female pastor in the history of New Mount Zion. Her youth and young adult ministry, known as “Walk of Faith,” is a thriving ministry within New Mount Zion.
