Jesus isn’t after polished performances—He’s after transformed hearts. Not more rules or image management, but surrender, grace, and real relationship that changes us from the inside out.

God has always used imperfect, everyday people to carry out His purpose. A reminder that you don’t have to have it all together to be used by God — you just have to be willing. What He can do through a surrendered life is greater than we could imagine.

In The Gospel of Mark, we were reminded that when Jesus sends you, He also empowers you. No matter who you are, God can use your life to make a difference.

How could the people closest to Jesus miss who He truly was? In Mark 6, familiarity blinded Nazareth from recognizing the Son of God standing right in front of them.

The danger isn’t that God stops moving—it’s that we stop responding. Don’t let Jesus become so familiar that you stop expecting Him to move. Stay hungry. Stay humble. Keep your heart open.

Familiarity can make us miss what God is doing right in front of us.

Today’s message from Mark 6 reminded us to stay full of wonder, reject cynicism, and keep our hearts open to Jesus. Where faith is present, God still moves powerfully.
