NBA's War on Christians: Bulls Waive Jaden Ivey for Daring to Quote Scripture and Oppose Pride Month
The Chicago Bulls just fired young guard Jaden Ivey over his bold Christian faith. The team cited "conduct detrimental to the team" after Ivey spoke out against the NBA's relentless push for LGBTQ pride events, calling them celebrations of unrighteousness.
Ivey, a 24-year-old who recently committed his life to Christ, didn't hold back in his Instagram videos. He said, "The world proclaims LGBTQ, right? They proclaim Pride Month and the NBA does too. They show it to the world. They say come join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness." He pointed out the hypocrisy: the league floods billboards and arenas with pride messaging, but one player preaching righteousness gets the boot.
After the waiver, Ivey went live again, refusing to back down. "They’re liars, bro. This is lying. They’re lying saying my conduct is detrimental to the team. That’s a lie. Ask any one of them coaches in there, ‘Was I a good teammate?’ All I’m preaching about is Jesus Christ and they waived me."
He added that he was in the gym rehabbing, doing his job, and didn't quit on himself—they kicked him out for his beliefs. Ivey also called out the selective tolerance: "They say I’m crazy, right? I’m psycho." And he questioned why other players get a pass for their lifestyles while Christians face punishment.
This isn't about team chemistry. It's religious persecution, plain and simple. The NBA bends over backward for every other activist cause and faith—except biblical Christianity. Players can kneel for protests, trash America, or push radical politics with zero consequences. But quote the Bible on sin and suddenly you're "detrimental."
Robby Starbuck nailed it: the NBA wouldn't dare pull this on any other religion. Christians are the last group it's acceptable to mock and marginalize in corporate America.
Ivey's standing firm, and real Americans should have his back. Boycott the Bulls. Boycott the NBA until they stop punishing faith. This is a First Amendment issue wrapped in corporate cowardice—time to fight back before they silence every believer who won't bow to their rainbow agenda.
