and we need all the Grace we can get. We believe genuine faith works. Here there is no need to pretend you have it all figured out. We love to do real life together. Making each other better, together. Serving others, in the gritty reality of life, together. Making our faith work. For real.

Maybe that’s a glimpse of God’s heart toward us: You are loved. You belong. You are chosen.

Our Riverbend staff had a “staff serve day” at Austin Blessings Outreach Center East, helping to love on, pray with, and encourage our most vulnerable neighbors in East Austin. What a joy it was to serve, and serve alongside each other!

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10

We were led in worship by worship artist Jordan Colle, wrapped up our sermon series "The Secret Life of Trees," and gathered in the Community Center to explore opportunities to get connected this fall.

It was a great Sunday filled with worship, community, and new beginnings.
