Attention all MCBC graduates!!!!

Graduation season is upon us, and with that, we want to ensure we have the opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments during our Graduate Sunday service on June 7, 2026 @ 10:30AM. On that date, we will recognize our high school, college, and graduate school graduates and celebrate what God continues to do in your lives! To that end, if you have not submitted your headshot and graduation information (school name, degree, special recognitions) by now, please do so to the church office by the close of the day, Thursday, May 21st, for inclusion in the printed and in-person program.

In addition, MCBC members!! If any of your young people (must be members or active participants at MCBC) are moving up from one school level to another, please be sure to submit their name, school, the school level they are moving to, and their parents' or guardians' names by the same deadline. Please and thank you!!!!

Per the I-285 Westside Reconstruction Project, all northbound and southbound lanes WILL BE CLOSED between SR 139 (Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Exit 9) and Cascade Road (Exit 7).

Start: Friday, May 8 @ 7:00 PM
End: Monday, May 11 @ 5:00 AM
(Both are weather and conditions-dependent).

We can reasonably anticipate significant delays, heavy congestion and increased traffic on local roads in Southwest Atlanta. Soooo….

1. Prepare for extra travel time (pack a snack and use the bathroom before you go)

2. Leave earlier than expected (don’t arrive at church right in time for the benediction…🤣)

3. Plan your post worship Mothers Day dinner route accordingly: if you are in charge of the essentials (smoked ribs or brisket, macaroni and cheese, collards, peach cobbler, etc.), do early reconnaissance work for alternate routes, and make haste…dinner and mom depend on you.

4. Drive carefully (even though the Cowboys and Falcons crash every year, that doesn’t mean you have to)
