30 years ago, Atlanta welcomed the world for the Olympic Games. This year, we look forward to welcoming the world once again.

The first World Cup match is June 15 and we will be meeting at the church at 10am for prayer and orientation. We have organized maps, gathered gospel materials, scouted drop off points, and have other logistics prepared for this amazing gospel opportunity. We invite you to join us!

We are grateful New Testament Church Pioneers, John Cauthorn and Samuel Nunez have safely arrived and are already hard at work! This will be an exciting four weeks as they help our church family labor in Vacation Bible School, 6 World Cup matches, building renovation projects, and weekly ministry and evangelism. We are so excited for our VBS June 17-19 starting at 6p each evening! The kids will enjoy a packed evening of Bible study, games, science, crafts, snacks, and the ever popular WHEEL UNFORTUNATE. Each evening, the child who brings the most visitors will get to spin the wheel and see what whammy Pastor McElreath will have to endure that night! We can't wait to see what happens this year!

We are grateful for a special wedding season at City! On Sunday afternoon, we celebrated Cassie and Ryan, who are soon to be married. Today, Pastor officiated the wedding for Aaron & Jaela (not pictured as it was an unplugged wedding), who started dating at City Baptist as college students.
