🌷 Today, we celebrate a woman whose love has been felt in countless ways throughout the life of our church.

First Lady Gail Sutton, thank you for every prayer you’ve prayed, every heart you’ve encouraged, and every life you’ve touched with your grace and compassion. Your love for God and His people shines through in all that you do, and we are blessed because of it.

You have been a source of strength, comfort, wisdom, and kindness to so many. The care you show, the sacrifices you make, and the way you serve with such humility do not go unnoticed.

On your birthday, we pray that you feel just how deeply you are loved, appreciated, and cherished. May God surround you with joy, fill your heart with peace, and bless you beyond measure in this new year.

Juneteenth is the story of a people who refused to give up, a faith that refused to die, and a hope that refused to be silenced.

Today, we honor the strength, courage, and sacrifices of those who came before us—not only by remembering their journey, but by continuing it. Their fight for freedom opened doors of opportunity, and it is now our responsibility to walk through them, uplift the next generation, and build a future marked by justice, unity, and purpose.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, let us remember: we are the living legacy of their perseverance, and the future is ours to shape.
