St. Ephraim the Syrian Orthodox Chapel An Orthodox Christian church serving the community in Athens, Ohio. Divine Liturgy or lay services are offered every Sunday at 10 AM at Galbreath Chapel.

Please join us for Divine Liturgy (the second and fourth Sundays of each month) and lay services (the first and third Sundays of each month) at 10:00 AM at Galbreath Chapel on the Ohio University College Green. Divine Liturgy is served by Fathers Stephen Frase and Benjamin Johnson, both of whom are affiliated with St. Gregory of Nyssa Orthodox Church in Columbus, Ohio.

We are rescheduling Vespers of September 20 to a date in the future.

Liturgy will occur, and will begin at a new time of 9:00 AM on September 21, with private confession possible at 8:30 AM with Fr. Aaron Rutz.

As usual, services are at the Lutheran Church on 69 Mill St, Athens, OH.
